
Krish stepped into the classroom, the low hum of chatter and the scrape of chairs greeting him. His eyes scanned the rows automatically, until they landed on Aksh, who was already settled in a seat surprisingly close to the front. Aksh caught his gaze and lifted his hand, waving with a grin that stood out in the dull morning light.
Krish made his way over, dropping his bag beside the desk and slumping into the chair next to him.
